Turmoil: One Man's Struggle with Teenage Epilepsy
Turmoil is the story of the author's struggles over a twelve-year period as he dealt with epilepsy in his teenage years. The book is full of personal stories of failure and success in overcoming the barriers which epilepsy brought into his life. Life lessons learned from unique and often intense situations to faith lessons learned from poor choices are detailed in this book.
The visual of a marble (representing a place of light, hope, healing, and belonging) is contrasted against the image of space (representing the places of darkness, despair, pain, and isolation) to convey the sharp contrast the author has experienced based on choices he has made.

Renewed Masterpiece: Finding Beauty & Hope in Genesis 1-11
Could the beginning of Genesis change everything?
There’s something quietly powerful about a book that doesn’t claim to have all the answers but instead invites you into a deeper way of seeing. Renewed Masterpiece is exactly that kind of work.
Drawing from Genesis 1–11, this personal exploration reframes familiar passages through the lens of hope rather than despair. Where many begin with the fall, this book begins with creation, beauty, purpose, and the goodness God originally declared. From that starting point, it shows how your perspective shapes how you see God, others, and yourself.
Written with honesty and humility, this is not a theological textbook but a reflective guide for those seeking growth within the Christian life. It speaks to those facing doubt, discouragement, or disconnection, offering a renewed vision of light over darkness and belonging over isolation.
Shaped by over 30 years of studying and teaching Scripture, the author writes from lived experience, grounded in faith and personal growth.
With themes of faith, free will, relationships, and restoration, this book invites readers to recognize both the damage in the world and the enduring beauty of God’s design.
Rediscover the beauty, hope, and purpose within Genesis.

This writer has a gift for writing which few of us have. He invites you along with him as he discusses various situations from the Bible looking at it's contents from various angles. He shares some of his own personal experiences and how they may have impacted his life, be it good or bad.
He talks about the account of the flood, the mountain heights, fountains of the deep, all fascinating. It kept one's interest with all the amazing endless possibilities of circumstances. The idea that Noah and his sons experienced life before and after the flood. Just imagine the stories they could tell to generations that followed.
This book is definitely thought provoking, well worth the time to sit down and read it.

The whole book is very informative. Lets you think about Genesis 1 to 11. It could be great for individual study or any small group . . . My favorite part of the book, the appendix. It shows people from Adam to Isaac. It shows when they were born, when they had their heir, when they died. I haven’t considered who lived at the same time as others. Noah’s son Shem lived long enough to be alive at the same time as Abraham and Isaac. Don’t know if they ever met. Makes you wonder.

A pleasant surprise, the author does a superb job taking the reader through the scriptures. He doesn’t tell you what to think or how to interpret the scriptures but shares his thoughts and insights from his personal journey of growth and discovery. Sharing unique and inspiring insights from the Bible and weaving in historical references that really help to expand the way we view and understand the word of God.
