Speaking Engagements

Stephen is an adaptable speaker. Stephen prefers to roam the stage speaking directly to audience members but can stay behind the podium if needed for streaming or video-taping purposes.

Stephen loves to use personal stories to connect with the audience when sharing concepts.

Stephen has found that humor and emotion evoking stories help the audience to grasp the concepts better and remove the barrier between speaker and audience by allowing authenticity and genuineness to flow between speaker and audience.

Topics

Any topic covered in Scripture as well as personal struggles and self-reflection.

Stephen speaks on topics such as...

• The Hebraic hermeneutic of PaRDeS (Pshat or surface, Remez or hint, Drash or deeper idea, and Sod or God-given wisdom) 

• Historical events that parallel Biblical narratives

• Foundational issues - where do we turn for truth (i.e. the Bible or things outside the Bible)

• Various experiences of his life: teenage epilepsy, surviving a divorce, being a parent, dealing with the pain our actions can cause others, cross-cultural communication, embracing a student but never a master mindset, and other topics

Stephen is available to speak to churches, ministries, organizations, conferences, groups, and other audiences.
 

Stephen honors all his commitments so all calendar dates are on a first-come basis. If Stephen agrees to speak at your event he will not drop that commitment outside an emergency event. Stephen will not break his word to speak at your event because of another offer to speak somewhere else.
